It’s with great honor that I present to you the Platform for Social Justice (PSI), an independent, non-governmental, non-partisan and not for profit making human rights organization. PSJ is committed to intervention by government policies and practices that affect the most marginalized in our communities. As we work towards social justice we need to engage in activities that enable us to celebrate differences &diversity

PSI is currently implementing its Strategic Plan that addresses the question of building social justice systems in rural communities as a best practice that would immensely contribute to the existing justice system in Uganda as it presents a broad perspective that not only promotes peace but also community development. Its objective is to restore self-esteem, prevent crime and reduce recidivism, make restitution and offer social responsible alternatives to gangs, drugs and crime.

The question of social justice and Human Rights remains a very significant issue in Uganda, and the World over and it is for this reason that the work we are doing to promote positive reform initiatives is extremely important. Although change is not easy, the problems and issues people face are complex and need well thought out action plan.
